Me and My Shadow

Just pretend that I'm not here

I know she can't see me

Will she EVER stop moving around?

She went in the bedroom, I think that I will wait here.

Can I get her to go outside? Such a nice day.

Will she come back this way? Or, go in the other direction?

Hooray, she moved into the studio!! I know she'll sit down now.

Wonder if she saw that pile of dog/cat hair in the living room?
My house is not really 'dirty', it's just a lot of clutter that has piled up since I returned from Quilt Camp. The Longarm Group will be meeting here on Saturday, so, I needed to do some pickup. This is the shadow that I have when I go to do anything. This is the slimmed down 'Rocky'. He has lost over 10 pounds, but, that doesn't make it any easier to move around the house when he is following you. The only time he will go off on his own is when I am working at the computer (like now). He is currently on the screened porch--such a nice day. He will also dissappear onto my chair in the den if I am working on Olivia.

The weather in South Carolina is beginning to turn nice. Eighty degree temps are expected this week. A little rain is in the forecast for tonight. I think that spring has really sprung and I can start to work on the garden. I did plant some spinach and some flat leaf parsley today. I also put in some broccolli plants in the water trough, but it is probably to late for them. I really look forward to some fresh vegetables.

Have a good week,

Rocky is looking quite the man with his new slimmed down look. Too bad Nelson and Reagan don't get that yet. But neither does their mother (me!) Sorry I didn't get to talk with you on Saturday.......was quite busy.

I love this post. I had a little dog(Mattie)that would follow me around in my quilting room. She was tiny and I was always worried about tripping over her. I would try to have little pillows or spaces for her to lay down on, so she could still see me as I moved around from the iron, to the bobbin winder to the quilting machine and back! Bless her heart she just wanted to be by me. I laughed so hard when I read your post. Thanks for sharing your story!
